Today the EU parliament voted to ban the word burger if they are made with plant protein, instead of animal protein. 🤦🏻‍♀️
 
They claim it’s to stop consumers being ‘confused between meat and plant products’ - solving a problem that nobody had!

Tutkimusaiheiden leimaaminen ja vähättely uhkaa tieteen vapautta. Se on pilkkaajien tarkoituskin.

Akatemia rahoittaa kaikkia aloja ja aiheita, laatu ratkaisee. Suomella ei ole varaa antaa yhdenkään tutkijan epäröidä aihettaan häirinnän pelossa. Tieteen vapauden puolustaminen on kaikkien tehtävä.

Kosmisen jalanjäljen käsitteellä asiantuntijat tarkoittavat ihmisten toiminnan jopa peruuttamattomia vaikutuksia avaruuteen. Kansainvälinen tutkijajoukko haluaa tuoda ongelman osaksi sekä akateemista että laajempaa keskustelua.
Myös avaruudella on rajansa: tutkijat vaativat vastuunottoa "kosmisesta jalanjäljestä"
