OMW to visit family, passing this. Miles of backup. Why would anyone willingly subject themselves to Black Friday? I never saw the point, and it only seems to get worse. Half an hour JUST from freeway exit to the parking lot, and "9+" accidents? Buy local when you can. Seek out experiential gifts.

Saw someone mention #1GoodThing and I think it's great. We need hope and positivity to bolster us.
So here's mine: grateful for a supportive spouse who held my hand while I had an IUD replaced, took me to get a milkshake afterwards, and then tucked me in to rest easy when we got home.

Yet another plea to people who are using or following people off follow-farming hashtags like #NoDemUnder1K, #NoDemUnder5K, #BlueCrew, #FBR, etc etc: please do not do that, it's how disinformation operations work. I'm already seeing accounts in those hashtags that are likely disinformation ops. 1/

My current hyperfixation is finishing a latch hook rug project I bought for my kid that he was excited about but then gave up on and kept under his bed for multiple years, while procrastinating on finishing the one I got for myself and have half done. Everything is fine. Not avoiding anything.
