Nigel Farage has admitted he misspoke when he claimed to have bought a house in his constituency of Clacton, saying the property is in fact solely owned by his long-term partner.
The Guardian revealed in May that the detached property in an upmarket part of Clacton-on-Sea was actually solely bought by Laure Ferrari, and when approached by the newspaper he insisted his name did not appear because of “security reasons”. Continue reading...

Just watched National Theatre Live 'Inter Alia' at the Showroom Cinema . Incredible performance by Rosamund Pike and a searing drama on modern masculinity. Not an easy watch but an important one.

One of the coolest things about publishing a book in Norway is that the gov will automatically buy 1k copies, 1.5K if its a children's book, these will then be distributed to all the libraries.

When I was an undergrad a lecturer whose name I can't remember said "look at what a government does to people who aren't citizens, because that's what they'll do to everyone if given the opportunity." Just thought about that for no particular reason
