Another example of the flawed nature of so-called 'AI' LLMs. Keeps getting things wrong. Doesn't find all the literature. Essesntially, it doesn't know what it's doing. researchwhisperer.org/2025/05/20/h...
Help! I’m an Early Career Researcher and genAI doesn’t know who I am
I’ve been a relatively slow-adopter of the genAI movement in academia. For a while now I’ve been under the (misguided?) perception that if I used genAI in any way to conduct my research, I would so…

Albanese says if Herzog had not been here he ‘wouldn’t have been able to raise the issue of Zomi Frankcom with him’. Sorry? He couldn’t raise the killing of an Australian aid worker with the head of state of the country whose military killed her without first inviting him for dinner at Kirribilli?

Watching Albanese tell us that we the Australian public need to bring the temperature down is gaslighting at its worst.

We didn’t invite Herzog. You were warned this would undermine unity and social cohesion yet you insisted.

Fuck Israel and fuck everyone who defends it. Right now the president of this apartheid monstrosity is sitting down with Australia’s prime minister for a cozy dinner - fuck him, too.

Why is it always those who set the house on fire are the first to ask why everyone is screaming? Politicians can’t inflame tensions in Australia by inviting President Herzog and then feign ignorance and shock at the public reaction.

Today is the start of LGBT+ History Month in the UK. I joined some cool people a while ago to reflect on why queer and trans histories are rich and powerful. Our histories can illuminate the possibilities of activism and politics, as we work to build a better world.

Keep the conversation going.

I’ll say it again: for me, the necessary indicator of a country might successfully begin a lunar settlement is whether it can consistently operate an inter-regional public transport system for 15-20 years.

Affordable, reliable, comfortable trains - in inhabited, oxygenated, temperate places.
