I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

Thinking about devastating cuts to NSF: US gov-funded science has been the engine upon which most of the tech wealth was generated. But the oligarchs (currently hoarding much of that $) think it’s their own brilliance & not the accident of standing close to the scientific engine that made them rich.

One extremely important fact to get ahead of for when inevitably they blame this on immigrants rather than admit this was entirely caused by RFK jr. is that the CDC has already traced these cases to see which infections arose abroad and which domestically. Overwhelmingly, this was domestic.

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
