I wrote this 2 years ago. But these sentences still capture my general take on AMR. We need to tackle infection systemically to reduce our reliance on antimicrobials. I realise that many of these changes are unpalatable to many in power: universal healthcare, social housing, paid sick leave etc.

Coincidentally, I came across an argument this morning that we should be more nuanced about criticism of AI, because one chatbot gave them useful legal advice. They missed the point that the law is often used maliciously, so the chatbot didn't need to be right.
