CrowdStrike’s AI ransomware marketing is total bullshit.

I’ve yet to see a single incident with AI ransomware, and almost every ransomware incident initial access doesn’t use phishing, let alone ‘AI phishing’. This is wildly irresponsible marketing by CrowdStrike leading to confused CISOs.
As ransomware attacks accelerate in speed and sophistication, 38% of security leaders rank AI-enabled ransomware as their top concern — the most frequently cited worry about AI-related security issues according to CSO’s new 2025 Security Priorities study. www.csoonline.com/article/4075...
AI-enabled ransomware attacks: CISO’s top security concern — with good reason
New surveys from CSO and CrowdStrike reveal growing fears that generative AI is accelerating ransomware attacks while defenders rush to harness the same technology to fight back.

When ICE floods a neighborhood with tear gas, it is flooding that neighborhood with a known abortifacient.

In a just world, that sort of behavior would be a ticket to the Hague.

Dawg you ain't changing any system at all 😭

Couple responses saying they don't understand the jargon in this post. Sorry! Basically: Justin Sun bought a huge amount of the cryptocurrency created by World Liberty Finanical, a Trump family project. That cryptocurrency was recently just made available for trading, meaning those tokens Sun
The Trumps' World Liberty Financial project has frozen WLFI tokens in wallet addresses belonging to Justin Sun that contain ~$100 million (on paper) in unlocked WLFI. Sun is a major backer of the project, which the Trumps say they founded to stop "debanking".

We have these "break the paper ceiling" ads here in LA that basically encourage companies to hire people who don't have degrees - which I'm fundamentally supportive of but I also think it's suspicious to see a push to devalue degrees while we have a super anti-intellectual government.

I think it's asinine that pharmacies sit on information like the existence of drug cards while watching you pay hundreds out of pocket for medication that your insurance decided not to cover anymore.

And other weird business...

I see every attack we get, and the attacks on our help desk folks are the worst. I am in their debt, every day. They repel elaborate, live-human threats from those who wish our folks harm, and the stress they can face is incredible. I closely advise them, as should anyone in cyber leadership.

This is why it's important to lay blame where it belongs. It wasn't JUST gamergate. Misogyny is a powerful tool of fascism and white supremacy.

Many men make the mistake of thinking they are allies as long as they're not rapists. But every sexist joke or insult feeds the beast of misogyny culture.

What you cannot donate with money you can donate with your time. So many organizations are struggling money-wise but are also struggling to find volunteers.

Particularly regular volunteers who can build a rapport with those who use much needed services.

If we totally fix climate change but do not address sunscreen, coral reefs will thrive.

Sunscreen is simply not that big of a threat to coral reefs.
