Been thinking how Canadians would suffer enormously if their investments in US-based mutual funds, ETFs, etc were suddenly frozen/seized due to US restrictions & sanctions.
Time to shift those investments back into Canadian industry & companies through Cdn firms.
Better a lower return than stolen.

This got me thinking about what's happened/ing in Alberta.
As of 2015, 40% of adults in Alberta between ages 16-65 lack "basic literacy & essential skills to function effectively in our society."
Doesn't change their human worth but does reveal a lot about voting patterns & susceptibility to lies.
