I used ibotta pretty regularly for a while, but they lost benefits. A week ago I bought a kindle through the ibotta app (signing in to Amazon through it was a STRUGGLE) and I swear Ibotta has asked me for everything but my fucking blood type to prove it because I didn't get my payment of what, 4%.

Oh my god. I don't want a iPhone. I just got a samsung galaxy s25, and every fucking place either only sells iPhone cases or sells like, two ugly as sin android cases. This is ridiculous.

Watching "Star Trek: Voyager- Alliances" and struck by how similar the situation is so far to our current government. Sure, it's nothing new to have the rich control the narrative, but this is too eerie.

Maybe it's because I don't drink the corporate kool-aid, but it will never make sense to me when a company pulls all of their leadership into a meeting and leaves absolutely no one available for escalations or approvals that may require a supervisor.

We can preach about how asking people to return to office is micromanaging, but let me point out that seeing other people in the office helps you to remember that there are other people in the office who are real and just want basic consideration. Trust me, I hate micromanaging too.

I'm not sorry, I fucking hate hybrid remote schedules. If you have an office role that is people facing or have a team that is people facing, you should BE PRESENT at least some of the time. My boss works M/F and alternate Wednesdays. We're off this Monday. We will not see her until FRIDAY. 1/2

Honestly, I miss when you could go somewhere and have a little old lady help fit you for a bra. They're a fucking pain in the ass, and overpriced, and it was nice having an expert on hand. I do not live in a big city so they may still exist, they just don't exist here.
