I mean yes, your employer should have enough coverage that it doesn't matter if someone is late. But also, you're literally part of an actual group of humans held to the same standards. Isn't it okay to consider them? Basic courtesy doesn't mean you're picking up company slack.

I am not even a manager. Who the hell wants THAT these days? But I notice the same thing in my online classes- there's such a disconnect when you don't lay eyes on other humans who rely on you. I don't understand how a person is late coming back from their break every day when they're AT HOME.
