The arrests of Don Lemon, Georgia Fort, and Jamael Lundy are unacceptable and a clear violation of the Constitution.

This is a dangerous abuse of power that threatens the rights of every single American.

They must be released immediately.

Poor Melanie. She is SO close to getting it.

No, it's no coincidence. Because violence flows directly from ICE and Democrat-run cities are where ICE has been sent to cause it. It's like observing that surfing is not popular in landlocked states or that intellectual rigour is rare at the Telegraph.
We hear all the time about the damaging effect of social media. Less abt the radicalising & dehumanising effect of corporate right-wing media. An example: the increasingly deranged, dogmatic Melanie Phillips. How long can @thetimes.com continue to publish such rancid right-wing crap?

Rwanda's £290 million was about 40% of £715 million spent directly on the failed UK/Rwanda policy. (There were much higher costs of associated policies, esp hundreds of millions spent on hotel accomodation, with claims not being processed at all, to wait for Rwanda deal)

I’m probably wrong but I think the Tories have stopped pretending that ripping up this nonsense the minute they got in was some sort of mistake by Labour.

Sorry but why the fuck would you *not* want to recreate 2006?Pre-financial crash, pre-austerity, pre-Brexit, pre-inflation. Britain's economically healthy, decent public services, largely competent government, fairly amiable political disputes. What kind of person prefers this period to that?
Kemi Badenoch says the Tories are "not trying to recreate 2006" which, to this 38 year old, is a pity

Five years ago. Incredible. Everyone was talking about a Johnson third term and Labour's 'decade in the wilderness'. Only FOUR of that most senior team are now Tory MPs.

The BoJo effect.
Another failed Tory MP jumps ship, as Suella Braverman defects and presumably becomes a customer of Reform Ltd.

More top analysis from Mason. 'Let me tell you why this non-story is a big story.'

No mention of the huge risks to Reform and Farage. No assessment of the toxic content of Braverman's speech or the cynicism of the move. No acknowledgment that Reform hit a poll ceiling and bounced down. Just gossip.

Also, please note, that Mason says he has known Braverman for "more than 25 years". When they were both 19. Before she was on any political radar. Before he was even a trainee journalist.

They were at Cambridge at exactly the same time. Where Suella was president of the Conservative Association. 🤔
