That is what I was taught as well when I learned to drive, although that is a rather arbitrary measurement and changes based on your height and such.

It's more of a 1990s Honda rebadge of an Isuzu.

Yes, like five months ago.

As long as you continue to prop up housing prices, the bank probably doesn't care too much.
November 14, 2025 at 2:14 PM
Yes, we definitely need more mixed income housing, yesterday.

I'm not aware of any. My understanding is that the little houses are permanent although residents are obviously free to move elsewhere.

I'm not sure that a new apartment building is the best comparison to make, but the existing housing in the old residences and in the Tokyo Ramen building has a lot of sketchiness already associated with it. I can't see this project, complete with 24/7 security, making things worse for the area.

I generally agree with that post, but we're talking about transitional housing here with the intent of permanently housing these people elsewhere. If they need full time support in order to make that happen I don't see how they wouldn't be congregated to some extent.

But you also need to account for the fact that you only get the sales tax credit if you trade it on.

That doesn’t necessarily mean SFHs though.
November 4, 2025 at 11:17 PM
I don’t think anyone is talking about building a million SFHs, are they?

Not mentioned in the article is that cyclists and pedestrians also have much higher levels of situational awareness compared to someone sitting in a car, more isolated from noise around them and with their views partially blocked by the vehicle's pillars.

The conspiracy theorists are working overtime today.

I understand that sentiment but the cost to deliver services to those areas can be very high, even if the services are fewer or worse. This table contains data for HRM but I would think the Fredericton numbers are comparable.

Correct, it is a delay. Wondering if this freeze will work the same way.

It's great that Fredericton is able to keep rates where they are for the majority of property owners, but the ever increasing infrastructure deficit is not so great.
November 3, 2025 at 9:01 PM
Why would you make that assumption?
