Tonight's cat-related excitement: was eating dinner and a cat (who shall remain nameless) leaped into my lap then immediately planted their front right paw in my potatoes and gravy, then leaped off my lap in horror leaving one (1) perfectly paw shaped gravy stain on the carpet.

Went anyways despite being on The Medication, everyone was very kind about my brain going into a loading throbber during conversations as words went missing and it was healing to hear about everyone's triumphs and good things in their life.
Friends are leaving town but I'm still dealing with a residual migraine, gonna try to suck it up and at least make an appearance but man I wish I could just enjoy the evening.

Feeling mildly proud of myself - had bought a Kong feather teaser a while back because Galen was too good at fighting traditional Da Bird, but he would eat the feathers. Neither Galen nor Clara wanted the springs tonight, so in a fit of madness I cut off the feathers of the Kong. Worked perfectly.

I occasionally have days where I actually feel full when starting to eat a meal, it's wild. I have to imagine this is what GLP-1s feel like all the time. Really hope it continues to get more frequent as I continue to age, it's so novel.
