Well today sorta wasn't the most auspicious start to the year (you get one guess as to why), but still went for a walk (trying out the whole "listen to a podcast" thing), showered, and snuggled the critters.

Wandered outside to get myself a couple of sweet treats and ran into a lady walking her cats (one Bengal, one Savannah). The Savannah was named Cairo and gave my hand one judgmental sniff before wandering off to continue hunting squirrels.

This year I learned to shoot and develop film, became ok at both, drove thousands of miles and took thousands of photos. I can't begin to organize them into a good year end list but at the moment these two are pretty decent.

No bones about it, 2025 was rough. Going through life spinning the wheel of "will you be bedridden by crippling pain?" is disruptive, to say the least. I am eternally grateful for the grace offered by those around me.
I did, however, add the miscreants to my life, so that soothes a lot of ills.
