I heard of blender from Phil Harrison when I was at scee.I tried it sporadically. I only started really using it since v4 and would never go back. I'm saving a lot by using affinity and nomad sculpt instead of paying subs. It's a lot less painful to give back.

btw you can bake lowres closest interpolation maps straight from polyhaven PBRs for quick and dirty pixelart textures, kinda goated for indiegame assets entirely in blender
