The shooters didn’t have Palestinian flags in their car, they had IS flags in there. No one’s reported seeing them at pro-Palestine marches, or using this phrase at all.

A few months into starting school my Aboriginal/Arab son started coming home from school very quiet and wouldn’t really talk about it.
Eventually he expressed that he ‘didn’t want to be brown anymore’. That’s how we found out about the bullying.
Surely addressing all bigotry would be preferable?

The idea that changing a definition to include criticism of Israel as being anti-Semitic and cracking down even further on anti-genocide protests would have in any way made anyone safer is madness. That the Coalition have so comprehensively jumped to blame here is insanity. Who is this speaking to?

Australia's journalist class has basically collectively and immediately decided last weekend's terror attacks were the direct result of anti-genocide protests and the entire political response is now going to be guided towards actions that won't prevent another terror attack
