much like rogue one, the book series I think Dark Tower is when i'm not actually reading it sure is great

i kinda never want bf to return to the charley spinoff, because it was written at a time when her character arc would probably end with her dying against a wall by a theresa may–ordered firing squad. but i also hope they can figure out a road to a happier ending, one day.

i honestly love the premise of a companion abandoned by the dr and forced to live among an alien culture indefinitely. i love the concept of the camera staying on that. shame the old charley spinoff immediately fled from that premise for more time travel bs; no unique flavor.

the dr (temporarily) abandoning charley is a way more interesting version of what eventually happens to her w the viyrans, his own infection is done quite well, and audacity (temporarily) just straight up dying early on? love it; somehow this plausibly postured as a season finale

one nice thing about this first story of Causeway—it's willing to go back to the way things were in 2001 and do some fucked up stuff to the characters. it fakes out pulling in a moffat monster but ultimately goes with a grosser, even darker premise.

Literally the reason Twitter sucks now is all these foreigners logged on willing to do racism for pennies on the dollar and undercut our home-grown American racists. We need to erect serious trade barriers to protect the integrity of our domestic racism industry and preserve racist jobs.

it is fucking infuriating to think how one different staffing choice, someone like Doug Jones, could have made all the difference in the world
