In 2023/24, UK govt gave £78.2bn tax relief on pension contributions.

32% benefitted 29.2m basic rate (20%) taxpayers.

68% went to higher and additional rate (40% and 45%) tax payers.

Equalizing tax relief at 20% to all, leaves govt £14.5bn spare to alleviate poverty.

Ultra-processed foods now make up at least half of all food sold in UK supermarkets. The Lancet has described them as a “corporate-engineered public health crisis.”

We can change this — but only if we confront corporate power.

For forty years, we were told that Britain didn’t need manufacturing — finance would make us rich. That experiment failed. We import more than we export, our towns are hollowed out, and our prosperity rests on hot money and property bubbles rather than what we make..

I had terrifying conversations with four former CDC officials, Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, Dr. Debra Houry, Dr. Dan Jernigan, and Dr. Nikki Romanik, about the formerly prestigious public health agency.

All of them told me that any information coming out of the CDC can no longer be trusted.

Dear Blueskyer's, am I wasting my time informing you of seismic changes to the entire critical infrastructure of the UK post-Brexit? Changes wrought by the Tories, by Labour, and with Reform UK's full backing.
BlackRock's own former ESG chief called it a "dangerous placebo that harms the public interest".
Blackrock is embarking on what it calls its Infrastructure Imperative. This represents a serious incursion into the public sector, it is wholly dependent on UK public services collapse.
