I honestly think Caine isn't "evil", he just doesn't understand how humans think, and he can't. The use of the Chinese Room reference, a thought experiment which posits that computers cannot have consciousness, leans towards this. #TADC

This is honestly stomach-churning. Pages upon pages of them taking advantage of their friends and using them for their own gratification. My heart goes out to everyone hurt by Shayy.

Repeating something many Black journos have said already, but never underestimate how much white journos+editors willingness to play nice w/ varied iterations of “anti-wokeism” was b/c they got really uncomfortable from 2012 to 2020 when called to account for racism w/in their outlets/profession.
