When I was a kid (aged about 9-10 years old), my sister (aged 5-6) and I had separate bedrooms. As an introvert who RELISHED privacy. My room was slightly bigger than hers due to the build of the house. My sister, an extrovert, constantly wanted my company and would demand to be let into my room. 1🧵

Well, there's no response that'll make everyone happy. If I don't comment there will be "his silence is telling," and if I do respond there will be "way to make it about you," and if I acknowledge any grief, I'll get knocked for my "processing," etc. I accept a ration of crap is mine no matter what.
If you weren't a public figure there wouldn't be any outcry about what you do, and do not, choose to say or do about this situation, but I think your response here has been about as good as one could reasonably expect from someone who is, to all of us, beyond your work at least, a total stranger.

A Tennessee Board of Education has now banned Wicked, Beloved and 35 other books as "pornography."
Under a new TN law, any description of sexual activity is "harmful to minors." Another 150 books have already been flagged for removal.

Interesting that End Wokeness, a sock-puppet account controlled by Posobiec, targeted the Hīkoi mō te Tiriti, generating 6.2k+ replies. Why are so many pro-MAGA, libertarian, far-right accounts from the US suddenly so interested in what happens in NZ, & so vehemently/virulently dismissive of Māori?
