Friend who got laid off is looking for work. Gets an e-mail for a position he doesn't remember applying to. On the surface the e-mail looks legit - the English is good, doesn't sound like ChatGPT, etc. Mentions he'll be interviewing with a specific person on the company about page w/ a Teams link /

I feel like we're well past the part of the story at which members of Congress with inside information on Trump's various crimes should be using speech & debate to just read shit into the record. They're going to bury or destroy it the second you mention it, so, well, get it out there.
Apologies since I'm but a dumb non-lawyer: is my understanding correct that the grand jury system is effectively just the prosecutor JUST TRUST ME BRO'ing the judge in the ensuing criminal case? How was this even caught? Are there cases when it *isn't* or is this basically unheard of from Trump DOJ?
