The whole point of standing up for Americans when they need you most is that you don’t back down when the pressure hits. Somehow that message got lost for some of the Democratic Party. And they wonder why their approval rating is sitting at 33%.

Tonight was a clear demonstration of why politicians MUST care for their constituents, not just their votes. More than anything else, this is why the Democratic establishment must go. They don't care about YOU, only themselves. Vote progressive or socialist. Never vote liberal. VOTE THEM OUT!

I'm against the use of prefixes. They're a relic of the past, an artificial sign of respect, and enforce damaging hierarchies. Mr. (Master) and Mrs. (Mistress) are the least problematic, but their place as the bottom rung of the system isn't great. Niether are the historical connotations.

Apple pie wasn't invented in American (it came over with immigrants from England), but fortune cookies were. Remember that next time you hear "as American as apple pie". Apple pie IS American, as American as all immigrants are.

I was given a message in meeting for worship in November of last year that I sat on and didn't share. It was just three words. "We're not ready." It was not prophetic in the "I can see the future" sort of way, or if it was, that wasn't revealed to me. It was revealing, though.

The Apartheid Free Communities coalition is a grassroots effort to commit communities to liberty and justice for palestinians and all people and to actions that impact Israel's ability to oppress Palestinians. If you dig a little deeper, you'll find it was organized by a shadowy cabal: Quakers!

Quakers don't often talk about eschatology (the study of the End Times). Will the end come? Maybe, but what's the point of getting hung up over it? This is what I was taught in first day school in New England, and I embraced it.

The procedure in Numbers 5:11-31 sounds like God assisted abortion. Like, you could read it differently if you choose to, but "the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall discharge, her uterus drop" seems to describe miscarriage given the context.

Yesterday, I was called a f***t while eating lunch outside at a restaurant in the second gayest town in Massachusetts. It was a man who didn't even have the guts to get out of his car and shout his slurs at me where he could be seen. I'm sure he felt really proud of himself for ruining my day.

With our fight for liberty and justice in America, as with many things, the question isn't whether "we" will survive. It's a question of how many people will be tortured, brainwashed, starved, etc, and in what sense does the "we" survive. (1)

The Senate Parliamentarian ruled the "Big Beautiful Bill" violates Senate rules... but WTF is a Parliamentarian? It's an apolitical position whose job is to advise the Senate on whether they're following their own rules. Their opinion is non-binding, and they can be overruled by the Vice President.

US 3rd parties need to stop running presidential candidates, from a strategic standpoint it makes no sense. I'm not talking about the spoiler effect; whether or not it exists at all isn't relevant here. Running a presidential candidate who will never win increases a party's nation profile
