There are literally a DWINDLING number of game jobs in the US now. We should not be celebrating the loss of ANY studios at this point. Any of us could be begging for a job at an EA studio in the near future.
before you say “well losing EA is no big loss”

2. people have families to feed
3. games such as hades only exist because the studio cofounders met while they were at EA. studios that make games you don’t like are still enormous institutions of gamedev experience and knowledge

Reiterating that Veilguard's hope for the world was a radical thing. I don't know what happens next, but given today's news, the things that game had to say feel even more important as a "final word" from BioWare when all the odds were stacked against them.
