Just a sobering thought.

I was just thinking about 1000 or 2000 year anniversaries.
What was happening in ancient Rome, "on this day" etc.
and what will crop up over the next few years.

I almost certainly won't be alive for the 1000 year anniversary of the Norman conquest.

Do you know if there is a good website for "on this day.." historical events from classical times (esp Roman) ?
Obv there is a certain margin of error for date reporting..

I am conscious that 2000 years ago were quite interesting in roman times
