New renderings for LA Metro’s Sepulveda Transit Corridor have been released by a transit design firm working with Metro. Renderings appear to depict the stations and maintenance/storage facility for automated heavy rail options from the Bechtel team.

The *one* major housing project built in district 5 during Dean Preston’s time as Supervisor, an affordable development at 730 Stanyan street, was ONLY possible thanks to a YIMBY streamlining bill that Dean opposed as a “developer giveaway.”
We are 10 years into the failed YIMBY project, and it’s clear that the for profit real estate industry is not coming to the rescue to deliver housing for the working class.
