Well, it finally happened. Wife came out to me. Now I can stop pretending like I'm clueless and she can stop hiding.
Other than that we don't know what our next steps will be.

People are making fun of Dr Oz for saying that Americans would lose 135 billion pounds, meaning almost 400 pounds per person.
Just for argument let's say we all misheard him and he said million. Then he's super excited about the less than half a pound each person will lose over the next year.

Those are my daily scheduled medication times. The only thing that keeps me taking them is that I suspect that it would be a slow drawn out painful end if I stopped.

It's tough to decide which is worse...the nights I know she isn't coming home or the nights when I have no idea if she is or not.

This is a weird way to put this, but other than not actively dying of heart failure anymore, my life is worse in just about every way since my surgery.

At one point in the ICU I couldn't unlock my phone. I thought I'd forgotten the code, but it turned out my hands were too shaky and I was missing the keys. The nurse asked if I had face id setup. I looked at her and said no..but even if I did I didn't have a tube in my nose at the time it was setup
