did my mom write this?
is my mom the Mountain Goats?
worst forest/trees problem in generations is that a canto is A SECTION OF A LONG POEM. THAT'S IT. YOU DIDN'T WRITE A CANTO BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT THE WORD LOOKED COOL ON YOUR MEMOIR. CANTOS ARE POEMS. THAT LANGUAGE IS DYNAMIC DOES NOT MAKE YOUR SLAMBOOK A CANTO AMERICAN OR OTHERWISE

I stopped using lorem ispum years ago, but let me tell you, the Bee Movie script makes a great placeholder text for just about any block of text in a mockup.
Stop using AI for placeholder assets.
Use sketches. Use lorem ipsum. Use bright pink materials. Use programmer art for fucks sake, literally anything else.
If your studio is using AI even for temp, even if they think they've covered their tracks, SPEAK UP because people WILL FIND IT

Absolute amateur hour. Have your Kurdish professor instruct you to put slices of onion and garlic under your armpits. @sagsefid.bsky.social can attest.
Under-the-weather TikTokers are slicing raw potatoes and placing them in their — and their children’s — socks before bed. The theory is that the potato draws out toxins.

However, experts warn against relying on folk remedies over medical care.
No, putting a potato in your sock will not cure a cold

A couple of years back, at a restaurant here in LA, I heard a man enthuse to his companion about “brothing.” My partner and I still talk about it (“babe, you should try brothing.”).
What’s funny is a few years ago attempts were made at pushing souping as the hot new alternative to juicing

Simon and Garfunkel, Moody Blues, The Weavers, Peter, Paul & Mary, “the duck tape” (a mix tape of German nursery rhymes and folk songs on a tape with ducks on it).

German boomers loved the American folk revival.
