It’s not “losing money” any more than air traffic controllers or public highways or street lights or fire departments are “losing money.” It is a government service. It’s not SUPPOSED to make money. It’s supposed to reliably deliver to anywhere in the US, even the unprofitable places.
The USPS faces a tight squeeze. With fewer people using the mail, it’s lost more and more money: $9 billion in the 12 months ending in September alone.

honestly it's kind of your duty as an artist to not let your audience dictate all of your creative decisions. it's good to get perspective from non-artists but there's a point where you have to stand your ground

But it's also the destroying of trust in anything that you’re not seeing with your own eyes right in front of you.
Wonder now turned to the narrowing of eyes in immediate scepticism seeing something magical.
Questioning the realness of everything from a stilted written apology to profound works by students in school.
It feels like a slow poison to creativity and humanity at large.
