Surely there are cheaper machines for sucking a billionaire's mutilated cock, ones that don't require whole data centers to run.

The propagandists and media shills are going to be the last holdouts on the Trump train because that's all they had to begin with.

The politicians who back away from this will be fine. The billionaires will be fine.

Those Mar-a-Lago lips are going to be stained orange for a long time though.

The capitulation of Senate Democrats after a big left populist swing in off-year elections isn't surprising considering the real purpose of the DNC isn't to oppose the right but rather to contain and constrain the left.

Senate Democrats, proving two axioms at once:

You can always count on them to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Cut a liberal, and a fascist bleeds.

On the freeway...

Google, send a text message for me

> Ok, sending "for me" via text message

No! Google, what text message did you just send?

> Preparing text message. What do you want it to say?

I'm driving. I will be there in about an hour

> Ok, I can send a message because you are driving

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

What I don't get: when they have all the money, do they think everyone else will just say, "oh well, there's no money, I guess I'll die"? That people wouldn't find some other means of trade for good and services to survive and move crops rotting in fields, leaving them with basically Monopoly money?
The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

The thing about Johnson not swearing in Grijalva is that’s it a test for 2026.

If you think they will accept an outcome they don’t like, they will just Grijalva it.

So what’s the plan when the GOP says “we ain’t leaving, fuck you, make us.”

Because that IS what they are going to say.

The goal has always been to replace ALL human labor to benefit the wealthy. All talk about discovery, research, shoving problems, curing diseases, making life or work easier - that isn't the objective. It's to make everyday people irrelevant to the elites.
‘Godfather of AI’ says tech giants can’t profit from their astronomical investments unless human labor is replaced
"I think the big companies are betting on it causing massive job replacement by AI, because that's where the big money is going to be."

China has just found a way to leave us in the dust in terms of compute power and efficiency, so of course Trump went there to try to smooth over his damaged trade relationship and say "oh, we'll see if we can get you those now useless-to-you Nvidia graphics chips". Art of the deal, stable genius!
China solves 'century-old problem' with new analog chip that is 1,000 times faster than high-end Nvidia GPUs
Researchers from Peking University say their resistive random-access memory chip may be capable of speeds 1,000 faster than the Nvidia H100 and AMD Vega 20 GPUs.

"The AI bubble is about to burst" feels like the new "We got him, Trump is finished"... a tense, pregnant pause on the rational order of things, the other shoe that never drops, the thing that is so broken that it can't even break in the ways we expect anymore.

If I were running the DNC, there would be Democratic Party sponsored food relief banks across the country right now that specifically welcomed anyone regardless of party affiliation.

Along with the food, there could be voter registration and links to runforsomething.net
