I wish we could come up with another word for ai and call it what it really is, because the term “intelligence” must suggest that it is, intelligent and, therefore, people can and should trust it. Great marketing, billionaire tech bros

You can’t use DMs unless you do it, not sure what else. The choices KWS uses are a facial scan, gov ID, or credit card details. There was a bit of chat on it here the other day when it rolled out, KWS are owned by Epic Games.

A new development in the age verification thing. Entering a birthdate was not enough. In order to use certain features of this platform I have to do further checks with KWS. I don't know which features and I'm not keen on whatever KWS is. Probs should find out.

I am a nervous driver & I drove through town today in post-school pickup traffic. What scares me in town is not bike lanes but super utes & gigantic 4WDs behind me, around me, and that are too wide for on-street parking. They terrify me as a pedestrian & cyclist too.

The “let kids be kids” catchcry used in the social media ban has also been used by some in the “keep gender education out of schools” and “don’t let drag performers read stories to our kids” spaces too, has it not?
