I am exhausted by the argument that buying nothing for a day will do nothing.

Anti-DEI initiatives hitting disaster recovery work now, while LA fires are still actively burning. This has ZERO to do with hiring practices, this is affecting how best public agencies can support the most vulnerable of disaster survivors including folks with disabilities and older adults.
