LAPD and LA Sheriffs tried to prevent two large protests from joining together in downtown and both departments ended up hitting EACH OTHER with impact munitions from across the same interesection.

Writing Instruction Tip: Asking students to describe (among other things) a writer's voice and state whether they would want to meet that writer based on the voice is a very entertaining way to check their reading comprehension.
