Congress’s shutdown deal eliminated key food safety rules, blocking agencies from enforcing measures to prevent contamination and trace outbreaks. This rollback has coincided with a surge in hospitalizations and deaths from foodborne illnesses.

The gutting of these rules coincides with a huge increase in hospitalizations and deaths from foodborne illnesses.

Anyone who says, “I want my kids to be afraid of me” should be slapped so hard they zoom out of the atmosphere and straight into a black hole, then spaghettified until there’s nothing left of them apart from tiny, wiggly little asshole particles.

[I’ve played both Guacameles four times]
If no new video games were ever made, there are still more games in existence than I can play in my lifetime.

And that doesn't even take into account how so many of us replay the same game over and over like a bunch of anxiety-riddled squirrels. 🚬
Someone called me a liar for saying I wouldn't buy any new games if every game suddenly had gen AI content in it, as if old games don't exist. These people are Desperate.

Close your eyes, imagine being paralyzed… unable to breathe

Imagine being stuck in a claustrophobic iron lung, to breathe

Maybe we all need to time travel, to appreciate how science & public health save us, every single day?

Went to Marshall’s to buy a new purse bc my old one sucks. While in line at least five people were coughing up a storm. They say flu right now is the worst in 15 years. Covid still going strong. I had to leave, bc despite my mask I felt *Very * unsafe. It doesn’t have to be like this.

Nuzzi's fawning coverage of the sociopathic conspiracy crank she was having an affair with aided his rise to political power, which he is using to perpetrate the worst intentional public health catastrophe of our unnecessarily shortened lifetimes, and THAT is the STORY.

Begging rich yt liberal folks to not post “I survived the first year of 45!” Jokes in December like they made Christmas ornaments about surviving 2020. Because many, many people haven’t survived, and that should weigh on us all.

As someone who grew up close to the ocean (ish) i am significantly more afraid of orcas than sharks by, like, a LOT
People don't appreciate the orcas are legitimately the most lethal killers of the sea. We get Jaws, but orcas would tear Jaws up just to eat its liver, and move on to the next serving while the remaining great whites swim like hell.

Starting with Sleep Theory- Gravity. This band is so dear to me. Started from the bottom releasing ep’s on TikTok, then released a full album this year that absolutely kills. Love seeing a diverse band in the alt music space. His voice is like silk and the music has the perfect weight (no screamy).

The the same yt men who proclaim “no good music came out after the 80’s” are the heads of companies making AI music. In an attempt to fight the bastards, I’ll be sharing music I like that’s fairly new. Some may be your vibe, some not. But I encourage you to listen, never know what you might find!

I owned every single book he’d ever written. I removed them all from my house within a month of his non-apology and suing his victim for breaching his NDA. Anyone who says “but what if YOURS” is a goddamn coward
"What if one of YOUR favorite politicians/celebrities/etc is on the list?" Did you all not notice how quickly we dropped Neil Gaiman when we found out about the things he did? Do you know how beloved that guy used to be and how loathed he is now? I think that right there should answer your question.
