The main reason I’d like to own a small amount of property in the woods is because I have a bunch of dumb things I saw on YouTube as an early teen that I want to try, most of which involve microwaves and homemade pyrotechnics, and it’s hard to do that when you live in an apartment building.

I just feel like it really needs to be emphasized that a trans teacher lost their job because they were trans. Not from any shoddy work, not for any scandal. For the simple fact of being trans.

The worst part about my boyfriend working third shift (aside from all of it) is that he goes to bed at 4 and now I don’t have anyone to talk to when I fuck up cooking and get worried about food poisoning.

This whole OU thing has really been a nice reminder that if I want to be a teacher, I’ll never be allowed to be out about my identity. Online, sure. But it will never be safe for me to ask my students and coworkers to gender me correctly.

He probably had Parkinson’s, but that wasn’t why he did the Holocaust. He did the Holocaust because he was a hateful man with power.
