they/them/theirs
It sometimes feels like a lot of established democrats believe they have a RIGHT to power, not an obligation to earn it.

If democrats took strong stances on things like “genocide is bad” and “we will give you money when you’re starving,” people would vote for them. But instead they expect people to vote for them regardless of what they do. And so they lose.

Like whatever else you want to say about him, Trump won (in part) because he said enough stuff that made enough people happy that they voted for him. And that sucks! And we need to figure out what the hell is wrong with those people. But the democrats can also say things that appeal to people.

I think a lot of the thing the “vote blue no matter who” people miss is that the point of elections is not that the people owe the politicians their votes, it’s that the politicians need to win the votes. So if the politicians aren’t getting votes, the obligation is that THEY change, not the voters.

Their lore is honestly killer

Critical support for my boys the forsworn. Fuck the empire, fuck the stormcloaks, up the Reach!

(I really like the Forsworn, if it wasn’t obvious)

Is it called JaxBox when you play it?

I don’t even care one way or the other for the Steelers, I just don’t want to deal with the angry relatives.
December 28, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Please god no, not while I’m at my EXTREMELY black and gold grandparents’ for the holidays. Any other day, I beg.

It’s one of those things I’ve always wanted to do, and never been able to.

Napalm, also, is apparently bizarrely simple to make with household objects. I had a book with all sorts of recipes an enterprising 13 year old shouldn’t have access to.

Like you can just make thermite? It’s really easy? But I haven’t done it because it’d be irresponsible to do that in an apartment, and if I’m gonna be dumb and unsafe, I want to do it responsibly.

This is what I see when I open Bluesky? This??? Dammit Phebe

So mad that I’m at my parent’s house and can’t celebrate the season by getting greener than the grinch

This is the same way I felt when my 50 year old father used the word “skibiti” during a phone call.
Hell is real and it’s accidentally teaching your family internet slang.

If I can indulge in a bit more fanning, your Lorwyn video has done so much to shape my views and love for the plane I started playing magic on, and helped to expand how I approach writing that same genre. It’s directly inspired parts of my short stories. So thanks for that!

Every time you release a video, I go “wait the story did THAT? What the FUCK?”

“Extremely in-depth and well thought out leftist revolution and counter revolution in the story for the set about Mario Cart???”

I don’t viscerally hate a lot of people (especially those I don’t know) but man, watching that dancing circus clown cry brings me hope.

Imagine how he felt when New Dad started paying attention to Mamdani, right in front of him.

The painting was evidently quite bad, even by the standards of one senator who prefaced his statement with “I am not an artist, but…”

That was a weird thing to stumble across.

I’d just spend all day hearing the “boodoop, boodoop,” of a low health Pokémon health bar
