1. Why haven’t we paid down a cent of the debt?

Returning to a subject I was discussing this morning on X, I think a single video like this does more to radicalize people against ICE than any loaded rhetoric any politician has ever used, and DHS should think very hard about the consequences of supporting this kind of behavior from its agents.
I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

OTOH, when Netanyahu attacked Iran he KNEW that he didn’t have the weapons to attack Fordo. Only the US has bombers that can penetrate the deep bunkers where that enrichment happens. It is hard not to conclude that he assumed he could play Trump like a fiddle. And Trump got played.

I think it’s notable that ICE isn’t conducting raids in red states, but is instead targeting deep blue states with big migrant communities that will fight back.
They want violence to justify more violence. This is fascism 101.

Whenever law enforcement agents are given a quota of a specific number of people to arrest or detain, especially with the WH policy director screaming at their superiors to hit those target numbers, bad things are going to happen. Quotas always result in civil rights violations.
