very productive day: i cleaned house in the morning, then solved the lighting problem (cheap portable shop light for my kitchen counter, clamp light for the guest room, disco LED bulb for the porch), and finally picked up some furniture for the guest room so there's finally floor space in there ^^

no, blacksky and bluesky use moderated servers that are subject to censorship. and atproto is poorly done. being "open" is not a quality, but a defect. therefore, it's a bad job.
Blacksky is doing good work, I am cheering them on!
However, the protocol used by both Bluesky and Blacksky (ATproto) is intentionally and explicitly built around the idea of a publicly indexable feed. It would take rearchitecting to change this

i don't think this idea of saying that "he died for an ideal" is correct.
charlie kirk died for what he believed in. in a very literal sense: he believed in a world where gun deaths are inevitable and the solution to problems is violence. he excused his own death years before it happened. and if anyone else had been killed he'd already be weaponizing and relativizing it.
