there is no "moving data" on nostr. it's everywhere at once. there's no owner, company, or central authority to ban or label your account.

a PDS, on the other hand, is more expensive and much more complex. When you host your account on someone else's PDS, you're simply changing the centralizing agent.

you literally don't know what you're talking about. running a relay is almost free, and it's yours! besides, you can run one on your phone *for free* with Citrine!

don't talk nonsense. on nostr you can run your own relay. nostr doesn't have an owner. there's no company behind it that can ban your account (even on other PDSs) or label it.
