The real shame is there is no other east coast football school the ACC could add to get to even numbers and have divisions to avoid this issue

It seems obvious to me that Lane Kiffin’s destiny is to win the national championship at Ole Miss while being booed by his fans and then flop at LSU. Why would anyone want to deprive us of what the fates clearly drew up millennia ago.

This is the sort of thinking that unjustly robbed Indiana of the 2020 Big Ten title
For real though. Chaos is great but having to watch a bad 7-5 Duke team in a conference title game while an actual good team sits home because of tiebreaker minutiae is just bad
This might be an unpopular take ... but if I'm the ACC and Cal upsets SMU, I override the tiebreakers and put Miami in the ACC championship game against Virginia.
