To me, Alvis' final words at the end of the first Xenoblade Chronicles are the main theme of the entire series. It is why affinity and community are a part of every game. It is why opposing factions often find common ground. It is about a future in which different people can join together.

Just finished watching Apocalypse Hotel. Lots of things to love about this series, which I will describe as a gag anime with a lot of heart. Episode 9 was a rollercoaster of emotions, but episode 11 was that one episode that I think every series needs. It lets you quietly sit and take in everything.

It seems that a lot of people who have watched Dungeon Meshi season one are unaware that the second season was already announced the moment the first one concluded. It has always been coming. There is even a teaser trailer. The only thing to wait on is a release date.

I got a really late birthday present from my parents. A Kotobukiya model kit of the Formula Skell from Xenoblade Chronicles X. I slapped it together these past several hours between tasks. I still have to place decals on it, but I will worry about that later.

Nintendo taking away Link's hat because "it is not cool" ignores the fact that Link has been able to pull it off for decades, and very few people questioned it because he made it cool.

The one thing that I really want from the Super Mario Galaxy movie is for Professor E. Gadd to appear and make Luigi's life a living hell. He is one of the most entertaining Mario characters. He has the same energy as Billy Crystal in that one scene from The Princess Bride.

Not sure how much it counts, but when I see a repost of someone else's content, I try to find the original poster to share it from their account, especially if it is a screenshot of the original post. I wish that I could do this 100% of the time.

I am worried that I will live my entire life and never experience an anime that hits quite the same as Mushi-Shi. Mononoke was the only thing to come close.

October 18th is not just my birthday. According to Wikipedia, the one and only Shadow of the Colossus released on this day 20 years ago. This game means so much to me and I'm sure a lot of gamers felt the same way after finishing the game for the first time.

I have been seeing these opinions expressing games should not have mini-maps or waypoints. It seems that games that would typically have these features have been without them in more recent years. I get some people do not want them, but I do. I would rather spend less time in menus and map screens.

I beat Silksong. Like actually beat it. It was hard, and I died a lot, but there were several times that I got sick of the abuse and locked in.
And I have to say that the final ending of Silksong made the final ending of Hollow Knight even better.
What an amazing game.
