@aoc.bsky.social i'd find it really hard to vote for any progressive after they stalled UA aid to signal action on Gaza. MAGA or the Squad: both view foreign nationals as negotiation props. So what if they are better on Domestic policy? Would I vote to doom the foreigner to color my own trappings?

Quinoa is grown all over now but 20 years ago it was almost unknown. USAID, working with countries in the Andean region, helped develop and popularize the nutritious grain, thereby raising living standards and reducing food insecurity. It’s just one example of what we’ve lost.
