Really positive meeting with Minister for Housing Matthew Pennycook today where we outlined the concerns of NLC members.

He is determined to deliver on their manifesto commitments

We stressed the urgency to lay down a timeline of when parts of LFRA24 will be enacted.

Have just read all of that and am now of the opinion that this is just going to drag on and on and on and the fat cat freeholders will do everything in their power to stall. Meanwhile my lease is getting shorter and shorter and I hang on in quiet desperation waiting to buy my freehold !

This is simply not a human rights fight as any non-lawyer would see it: it is fight over comparatively recent income streams cobbled together by the property sector to the detriment and expense of ordinary homeowners.

Sat on the London Tube and these fake advertisements are everywhere.

If they spent as much money on ensuring the scheme worked than what they do recruiting and enticing innocent future victims the floored scheme may stand a better chance of helping the people it says it can help.

Using 'Help To Buy' Slogan and claiming to sell a 'Dream' is very much part of the problem.
