At times I dream recursively dozens of times in one night, each time waking disoriented because it feels more solid than a normal dream. Last night I danced to Tipper in a Welsh field with Rebecca Ferguson. She wore platforms that put us eye to eye & was just as strange and beautiful as in real life

in fact, neither mlk jr or malcolm x posed any true threat to fascist government until they 1) began expressing admiration for the work of the other... and 2) expanded their protests from race struggle to class struggle.

this is, of course, what got them killed; as well as fred hampton.
we forget that what made the civil rights movement more effective was the threat of protesters turning to a violent alternative under the black panthers or nation of islam. leadership absolutely did not want that

this administration only *thinks* it wants violence; nobody favors war but profiteers.

Imagine being too ignorant to know what a Luddite is then someone puts you in charge of a plagiarism machine. Pathetic.

Talking about how his dad got into US activism after hearing SNCC members sing Florence Reece’s “which side are you on” is exactly what I needed today.

One thing you never want to do to a tire if you want it to remain pressurized is to cut a pice of brake line at a 45° angle around 2” long and allow it to puncture the sidewall. This will cause the tire to lose pressure quickly, a bad time.

Who could have predicted that in the end the imperial army would be turned on its own citizens. Totally unforeseen outcome, unprecedented in history.

Mutual Aid community garden is coming along. Very cool to see this place slowly turning into something that helps the community. Also cool to see kids learning to love growing their own food and being interested in the local biome. Cultural ecotone.

An example of why first principles are imperative: tuned the carb on my chainsaw the other day and it ran great. Then it stopped running completely. Spent half an hour resetting the carb trying to get it running again. It was out of gas the whole time. When problem solving, start from the beginning.

Vitamix does not like blending garlic scapes. Overheated in record time. Might have to finally buy an actual food processor.

Every day I walk outside and hear dozens of birds, see hundreds of plants, numerous bugs, and fungi. Then I get online and see burning children, people who are just fine with that, and I wonder, why do we get this and they get that, and how long until it arrives here. I know the answer: not long.

Rogan is a liberal, that the Democrats don’t see that liberalism is the precursor to fascism is a real problem.
Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.
NEWS:

Democratic mega-donors are debating plans to spend tens of millions of dollars on a range of influencer plans to "find the liberal Rogan."

We've got pitch decks, investor meetings, and internal docs.

One Democrat has a spreadsheet of 26 different proposals.
