Thinking about how there are probably only a few thousand especially terrible people in the US who, if they died, would leave the world a much better place. While some are fairly obvious, manifesting those deaths without opportunists stepping in is literally a Reign of Terror shaped problem.

Felt like making something with a moderate amount of complexity today, so I picked a fire hydrant. Has some seams and other small issues I need to fix, but it's alright for a days work.

Imagine being this contemptuous of the idea of art.

Like to hold this view you need to be cowardly, intellectually incurious, and dismissive of the idea of art in the abstract.

Or just some asshole desperate for attention posting contrarian bullshit knowing the dunks will raise your profile.
Horses shows "abuse, gory imagery (mutilation, blood), depictions of slavery, physical and psychological torture, domestic abuse, sexual assault, suicide"

It also implies someone is r*ped until they die. It's implied someone comitts necrophillia on the corpse.

Why are we mad about this ban?

Hey folks. Here's one of the animations I did showing an O'Neill Colony - basically a hollowed out cylinder in space. This one is 35km long and 9km across and spins once per minute (if I remember) to provide 1g gravity.

Please repost! Spread the love!

Made in #blender. #sciart #scifi

Work in progress, but I've been making a full scale O'Neill cylinder in Blender! This thing is 32 km long and 8 km in diameter. I decided to make the buildings fun shapes, just because.

Was thinking about how you'd replace a pane of glass in an O'Neill cylinder, and it occurred to me the window sections would likely need gantry cranes for that purpose. ~4km wide gantry cranes... Silly.

AI increasingly makes me feel that digital necromancy of any kind should be illegal. Not felony illegal, but like, stiff fine and you're not allowed to sell that anymore illegal. Not sure that this is a good take though.

There's WorldBuilding (the hobby), and then there's world building (an aspect of writing). Do not confuse these or will either never finish writing your story or spend an inordinate amount of time angry at writers for not having accurate plate tectonics or whatever.

I wonder how hard it would be for malware to activate the new Windows 11 "agentic" features then use them for further mayhem... Probably not hard enough to keep it from being a major security vulnerability even when disabled.

Had a dream. I was 7 people who merged into one. Trying to maintain all their social lives as essentially a different person was hell. Many rejected me. But having the skills and networks of 7 lives/people was incredible. The mental/emotional instability was bad though.

I wonder, do you think with purpose built mechanical counter pressure space suits, two people could have sex in a vacuum? These are the kind of important questions NASA is too scared to ask.

Feels like it should be bigger news that a journalist known for being loud about her investigations into banks/payment processors appears to be getting financially stonewalled by the entire industry unaminously right now.
The full count as of today:

YouTube suspended
Twitch banned 3x
Patreon suspended (temporary)
Patreon 3x audio flags (one false posi)
Ko-fi suspended (indefinite?)
Buy Me a Coffee suspended
Vice reporting censored
Pornhub censored 3x times
Fansly censored 1x
Is it really a conspiracy to say Ana is being explicitly flagged by finance bros when she's now been banned (or censored) from Twitch, Patreon, Buy Me A Coffee, Ko-Fi, and *PornHub*??

Some people can't help but touch the hot stove every time they see some minor discourse. They make bold claims that try to neatly categorize everyone with no nuance. It's an incredible level of commitment. Whether to their own ignorance or a love of argument, I know not, but I almost admire it.

On the one hand, I love the sweet taste of boxed cornbread. On the other hand, why are we putting cornmeal into yellow cake mix and claiming it's "bread?"

PSX art test in Godot Engine. A lot of how this model is built, textured, and shaded is heavily inspired by Spyro. All lighting is baked into vertex colors. All textures are palettized with 2 256-color palettes, 1 for the thatch and half-timber texture set and 1 for the stone set.

It's called bash scripting because it makes you want to bash your head against a wall instead of debugging it anymore. I'm sure someone has told that one before, but it's true.

Often I will get to conversations online when they're already hours old, but I notice a lot of people I follow reply to each other with in minutes. I briefly wondered why this is, but it's just because I will regularly go the better part of a day, or even multiple days without checking social media

It'd be really nice if Kwin could stop fucking crashing routinely on me, or if it could at least consistently restart when it does instead of just starting dead sometimes.
