The United State's high death rate has not been explained. This graph shows the effect of one variable demographers have ignored and it shows that state politics is strongly related to death rates. Republicans have the highest and Democrats the lowest. See ALT for more information.
First a description for the handicapped that will be followed by some more information about what the data behind this graph tells us and where you can get data to verify it. This graph has three lines of dots, each dot displays the percent of total population that single year age group of Democratic, mixed party or Republican voting states. The three lines of dots and the only place they are the same is for the last three ages, 82, 83, and 84 for mixed party and Republican voting states. The line of dots for Republican voting states bounce around the 120 percent level until about age 60 then they make a strait line down to join the mixed party at the end close to the 105 percent mark. The next line of dots is for the mixed party, they start bouncing around between 100 and 110 percent and gradually come together as a short smooth line of dots right at the 100 percent line and then gradually slope up. to about 105 percent where they join the Republican line of dots. Finally the Democratic voting state's line of dots. They start off bouncing around the 80 percent mark and move to a tight group and fairly strait line in the middle 80's percents. Then the tight line dots run parallel with the mixed party dots to end right at the 90 percent level. Some additional comments: This graph shows a major reason the United States needs to become more Democratic. The basic fact is the misnamed health insurance industry has let the major reason for capitalism, making the rich more and more money, turn our money making health care industry into a major cause of the CIA's ranking the United States 49th in life expectancy despite our paying the most for health care. Hell, Puerto Rico ranks 34th. Capitalist health care makes the rich money but does the worst job at keeping people alive. Democratic state governments do a better job of keeping people alive but even they are way behind Canada. When people vote Republican they are sending them and their loved ones to death earlier.

There are two major parties in the United States today. The Democratic Party and the MAGA/Musk party. The respectable Republican Party has been relegated to very minor status like the Nullifier party of decades ago. All Republicans, with few or no exceptions, are RINOs.

From Wikipedia: Wilson played a significant role in the 2002 United States Senate election in Georgia, in which Saxby Chambliss was facing Democratic Party Senator Max Cleland, a disabled Vietnam veteran and recipient of the Silver Star. Wilson helped create an ad that criticized Cleland, while also tying him to Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein. The ad appeared to question Cleland's patriotism.7] [8 In an interview with HuffPost, Wilson stated that he thought that "DHS [Department of Homeland Security] was on the front line against Osama bin Laden".[9] As Wilson reflected in 2016, "The Cleland ad was powerful because it went to his strength s ... Everyone assumed Cleland was immune to critiques on national security issues. [..] they didn't calculate that I have no moral center when it comes to political ads, and will destroy the innocent and the guilty".[10] Following Cleland's death in 2021, Wilson received criticism from journalists such as Glenn Greenwald and Charlie Pierce. Bill Clinton is an awful person, had atrocious politics, and he did real harm to the United States, but he's also - I think unquestionably? - the best retail politician of my lifetime. The Democratic Party doesn't have anybody a tenth as good as him at the actual "get people to vote for you" work.
