Folks, please watch how you're writing antisemitism. I have been seeing the hyphen creep back in more and more. It seems like a small thing but it has a big meaning:
Lot of conversation about antisemitism this week so just a gentle reminder that we don’t hyphenate the word, because it implies there is such a thing as a “Semitic” race (there isn’t, there’s only Semitic language) - and implying there is a Jewish race is of course deadly for the Jews. More info:

At a doctor appt with my mom who had chronic back pain the doctor asked her pain level to which she replied, “6.”
I said I think it is worse than that. My mom said, “Well someone has it worse.”
The doctor said, “Sweetheart, there is no one here but you.”
Mom wept and wept…before saying “9.”
