Some folks talk down their characters to me as "Just a grizzly" etc. Honestly I loved working with characters like that! Many animal artists long to be paid to draw wildlife with charm! 🐻🌲 So shout out to the people with simple, naturalistic designs. I dig ya ;) #Oldbearcomics #TheBearMinimum

Stupid things I have bought myself—a switchblade comb. It's practical, it's really nifty, it's great for travel, but I realize I will never be able to take this on a plane. I can see TSA dragging me away as a yell frantically, "It's a comb! It's a collapsible comb"

Coming back from MFF, I feel this. I'm very lucky to be working in a fandom that loves it's creatives, and to receive the support I do. I also am nowhere close to making a living as a writer, but your support does help me pay to attend cons where I can bring you my work and to pay cover artists.

Coming back from MFF, I feel this. I'm very lucky to be working in a fandom that loves it's creatives, and to receive the support I do. I also am nowhere close to making a living as a writer, but your support does help me pay to attend cons where I can bring you my work and to pay cover artists.
Also, thank you so much to @slip-wolf.bsky.social, who because he drove to the con, brought a kitchen mat for me to use on that hard concrete floor. My footpaws greatly thank him today.
