As a precaution, the fiancé and I are making a backup plan in case we have to drive to MFF. We already bought plane tickets and I ordered stock for the con, so we will wait and see. With how stuff is going, who knows at this point what will happen.

I work remote, so I don't get to dress up for work on Halloween. However, we have a weekly meeting on Fridays, and we meet on camera. I am going to break out my ren faire garb for the meeting.

I work from home, and we are getting the house reroofed. I now understand why dogs and cats freak out about lightning storms, because all the random noises and banging I can't see the source of are driving me kind of crazy. It is a very ears back and down experience.
