Amazon deploys latest wave of electric trucks. Worth remembering that it was not that long ago plenty of serious people were arguing this technology could never work. It is now being deployed at scale by one of the world's largest companies. www.businessgreen.com/news/4521328...

Turns out today is ANOTHER good day for Pierre Poilievre to prove to Canadians that he’s actually capable of passing the standard & normal security check, & get the security clearance that he’s refused to get.

Until he does, I’m continuing to assume that it’s because he knows that he can’t pass it.

In my opinion, AMOC collapse has always been a red herring, like sea level rise before it. There are other far more immediate and existential consequences of climate change. Among them are heatwaves, fires, floods, storms, droughts, disease, ecosystem collapse and fascism.

Computer simulations show nightmare Atlantic current shutdown less likely this century

This guy wants the AfD to win in Germany.

He wants Pierre Poilievre and the CPC to win in Canada.

I don’t know about you, but given the devastation and fascism he’s doing everything he can to create in the United States and beyond, I wouldn’t vote for someone this guy likes in a million years.

What flexposts say: "We could use steel bollards but a bollard might scratch a car and that would be a tragedy. So, we're going to use these instead — things literally designed to be run over — because protecting even one car from a scratch is worth thousands of pedestrian deaths every year."
Because city agencies are typically reactive, not proactive; crews aren’t scouring the city for downed flexposts. But in a rare victory for municipal services, explains @johnsurico.bsky.social, if you tell them, they will come.
