I just cannot get warm today and I have been inside all day save going to and from my car to go to the dentist and walking to the mailbox twice. And no it's not because of where I live because I've lived here 97% of my life and inside my house is 70°F and even warmer by the woodstove. 🙃

Pleased to see 40 (38+2) mushers already signed up for Iditarod. I'm sure we will have some pre-race scratches but we'll also probably have a few more sign up as well. There was some speculation last year that the field size would be tiny this year and I'm really happy to see that isn't the case.

Wow look what happens when you don't vaccinate your fucking kids.
Two years and it still feels like yesterday. It hasn't gotten easier. I still cry regularly. I still say goodbye to your urn before leaving on vacation. I still panic if I cannot immediately find the ring that holds your fur after I shower. I miss you, Eliza, every bit as much as I did back then.

My dad has managed to turn 39 every year since 1997, and what do you know, he's done it again! Happy birthday dad, crazy to think I'll be older than you in a few years! 😉

It's just very hard to go about my day knowing that I've probably got six weeks left of health insurance and then my pain will go unmedicated and when my gallbladder starts acting up like it absolutely will given my family history that will just be the end for me and I will die.

Pillars would be more noticeable if the clouds weren't blocking the bottom, but I'm never going to complain about getting this view in any capacity.
